Some of my best memories as a child are from hunting trips with my dad, uncles and cousins. The sleepless nights talking while still knowing we needed to wake up before dawn to get that perfect shot... I wouldn't change my childhood for anyone else's.
That's why I started Gun Dog Hunting a few years ago. To be able to share hunting stories, tips and strategies to bring together this amazing community of people who love animals and the lifestyle. My hope is that we someday remove the stigma behind the love of hunting by humanizing (way to speak) our experiences.
PROMOTING THE LOVE AND RESPECT OF ALL ANIMALS IS A WAY OF GIVING THANKS TO THE ANCIENT TRADITION OF HUNTING AND WHAT IT MEANS TO PROVIDE FOOD FOR OUR FAMILIES AND COMMUNITIES.
Living and growing up in Canada, hunting has been part of my life for the past 18 years as a hunter myself and as an outdoor guide for bear and whitetail. My passion for the outdoors is paired with my undivided love and respect for all animals, especially my german shorthaired pointer Pepper that you will get to know through these stories. My wife Jen is an Alberta girl who loves the outdoors and is always willing to try her hand at cooking anything I bring back.
Hope you join me and I look forward to hearing your stories!
